How's about you hand it in at a police station near where you found it so the legal owner might get it back?

If my wife lost her wedding ring I'd be devastated and like to think someone would be honest and hand it in.

first of all you shouldnt sell founded things, you should take it to police or something, + when people sell items usually they include photos of it
