The act of running away with peoples money is not nice, but it sure as hell is interesting to watch people cry about being scammed by (stay with me here..ready ??) a PONZI scheme . Now who would expect something like that to happen.. shocking 
If you are participating in ponzi, in a way that makes you a thief yourself, since the owner operates with other peoples money, and u know that, since its said from start its a ponzi.

If they crashed now they would have probably stolen less money than if they went on for much longer. Better that it stops earlier so that they don't steal anymore money.
