I want to buy a rotator script that I can install on my own cPanel hosting. Would prefer if it had a timer, but I might be able to live without it. Must be able to hold 500+ faucets, and if people could de-activate faucets they don't want to use, that'd be awesome.

What are you offering for this? I may be willing to do it. For reference, I run this faucet rotator, which has a lot going on in the backend. Basically, it organizes faucets based on:

1) Those with referral systems (these always pull first)
2) Payout amounts (highest to lowest)
3) AdBlocker-blocking (not currently implemented but the faucets do have a flag)

As new faucets are added to the system, they automatically get sorted, Smiley.

And the system is expandable. If you wanted 5 MILLION faucets in it from 500 different coins, it would still work.

So this would run on my own domain, and if I wanted to, I could start with just the bitcoin faucets, and add the others as I go along? And with the cooldown feature, if a site that was high on the list became available, it would show up again as soon as it was ready, not after all the other faucets were used?
And I can temporarily deactivate faucets if they are unavailable?

To answer all of these:

1) Yes, it can be run on any domain/host. Takes about 15 seconds to set up, Smiley
2) Yep, only BTC could be used, or extended into others. I will be working on an update "soon" that will have a drop-down and allow as many different coins as someone feels like supporting (so you could run one for 50000 different coins, each keeping up with cooldowns on their own)
3) It will always pull the highest-priority site that's off cooldown. If you hit JUST the highest-priority one and, let's say it's 30m cooldown. If you return after 30m, it will load that one prior to doing any others
4) Yep, there's an inactive/active flag already, as I'll temporarily disable faucets when they go dry!

Actually, you can see a lot of this from the public page right here:

URL = Site URL
Type = Coin type (abbreviation)
Name = Name I created for ease
Status = Active (1) or inactive (0) but can be changed to just say "Active" or "Inactive" as well
Cooldown = Cooldown in minutes
Payout = Average that should be expected from each faucet. For BTC, it's in satoshis (i.e., 100000000=1 BTC). For others, it's in full (so KARM would be 100 = 100 KARM)

There are also a couple flags on the back-end that aren't shown on the public list: Referral/AdBlock. At the moment only the Referral one does anything, but the plan is to add an option so people can choose to automatically ignore all sites with Anti-AdBlock on them if they wish.

"4) Yep, there's an inactive/active flag already, as I'll temporarily disable faucets when they go dry!"

Or like now, when SolveMedia is screwed up!

Anyhow, it looks really good. What kind of price were you looking to get? I'm going to have to buy some funds, since I know I don't have enough satoshis to buy it with yet, but it shouldn't take too long to buy whatever I need, right? I've never had to buy 1 before.

I've actually never bought coins before... mostly just bartered, Smiley. With that said, I believe Circle is a fast method to snag some.

And that opens up another possible flag... based on captcha type (such that if SolveMedia is screwed, it can instantly disable ALL faucets that use that, and then unflag it when it's back up again). Interesting idea!

Basically, I can make it do pretty much anything.

And I'll definitely need to mull over the cost a bit.

SolveMedia is screwed up so often, it drives me nuts. If it could disable either SolveMedia or reCaptacha on demand, that would be so much better than having to manually do it.

Think about the cost, and we'll talk again tomorrow. I'm off to bed; I have a 6 week old puppy who likes to get up at 4:30 in the morning.

thanks,
Amanda

Are you still interested in this project? Just want to know if it looks too complicated and I should keep looking, or if you are interested and just thinking it through.

Are you offering an actual comparable amount to what should be charged? I've had a few people over the past week ask if I'd take anywhere from $10->0.1 BTC to do everything, which is a bit ludicrous. It's hours of work to customize it.

I think that amount is too low. I've done a lot of research, and I've seen faucets with no timers or customization for more than that. I would expect it to start at a minimum of .5 btc, more for the customization, or maybe a combination of btc and ongoing income from it. I just don't know enough about programming to guess how much time it's going to take. I was looking at Freelancer.com, but I'd have to setup a project before I got any idea of prices.

I would be willing to discuss a deposit as a 'proof of intention' LOL.
