Legit project discussion

I recently was part of the CCO of SendChat. They partnered with BlockTrust a crowdfunding platform which gives security to us investors. They reached a total of 210 BTC whilst requiring 350 BTC as a min. I really do not understand why people would invest in project such as PayCoin or any other project lacking in security and trust, and not invest in legit projects such as SendChat. I am sure they will continue and perhaps have another run (i hope) but why in the world are people so blind?!
