Hello.

My name is Roman Parra , CEO and Founder of Bitcoin Suramérica SAS, the first company legally incorporated in Colombia, dedicated to the Dissemination, Development and Comercialization of Bitcoin in the Country and Latin America (www.bitcoinsuramerica.com).

I want to tell you about our latest development, a product called WoodShares, which is the first in a line of products "Digital Asset Investment Real" which is decentralized investment in commercial timberlands.

www.woodshares.co

Its launch is on Sunday February 22 at the CoinFest Bogotá, where the product will be exposed to the public and sales will open.

Our goal was to create a non-speculative token in the Platform Counterparty with a known cycle life and friendly environment.

We will be telling more about the features of this Digital Asset. We hope all questions, comments, criticism and advice that you want to contribute.

Best Regards

Of course.

WOODSHARES (WS) is Bitcoin 2.0. WoodShares is a financial derivative, similar to a future that comprise the distributed investment on shares of wood.

Investors are adopting a Long Position, which must receive at maturity of the contract value of the underlying asset sales under negotiation. It basically means that they are investing today for tomorrow recover the nominal value plus capital appreciation.

WOODSHARES  is a decentralized Token backed by a real and tangible asset (timberlands) which has the following features:

Stability, Real and Tangible Support, Value Increase Permanent and Sustained, Environmental and Ecological Approach, Life Cycle Known and it is not a Speculative Asset

WS Tokens are generated under CounterParty Platform and its trading (Buy, Sell, Exchange) would be initially at CounterWallet (CounterParty) and MasterXchange.

The dividens distribution also will be made using CounterParty.

Isn't Columbia on the list of countries to eventually be torn apart by the brutal U.S. military?
Sorry to phrase it that way, but "we" have been so busy in other places...

Don't scare me or I´ll have to leave my beautiful country.

Your country has had some instability the last 10 to 12 years: (for example)
"The worst came in the form of a scandal that Colombians call “false positives”: civilians -- often young men deceived by promises of employment -- detained and killed, their bodies later presented as those of armed group members killed in combat in order to inflate “results” in the conflict. Colombian prosecutors, in the words of the U.N. high commissioner for human rights (.pdf), have now “accumulated complaints, including 4,716 victims of homicide presumably perpetrated by members of the security forces, many of these false positive-type executions." ~source

The Good News
"Colombia’s long armed conflict against leftist guerrilla groups may be entering its final stages as peace negotiations with the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) proceed. The possibility of peace comes after a decade-long military buildup..."  ~source

That article is ~2 years old, so I hope you have peace now.  Smiley

Unfortunately, Colombia has a incredible level of corruption, but on the other hand the violence has decreased enormously in the last years and talking about economic stability, it is one of the best countries of the region to invest.

And obviously the lands that we are choosing for the WoodShares project are located in areas with a good security.
