Greedy is being considered a bad attitude and the sole aim of getting rich is a pretty basic desire. While other people work pretty hard for their money, they don't want to see other people become rich by doing nothing, they feel this is unfair - which it is. When it comes to investments, people who don't dare to put money into an investment (Bitcoin) don't want it to succeed so they can rejoice not having lost an opportunity while staying safe.

Investments can be considered gambling in some countries.

Use your bitcoins,
and then buy more.

Personally to me it sounds like BS that btc only have value if spent. Btc is at the very least a volatile store of value which tends to rise in the long run. Specially when the btc inflation decreases, it will certainly rise at a faster rate. Considering that you need to spend to give it value sounds stupid to me.

It is very simple. Bitcoins are just a bunch of numbers, and as numbers they would be inherently worthless, but the ability to use bitcoins gives them value. If you were not able to use bitcoins, then they would be worthless.

The key is that when people use bitcoins, they become more usable for more people. The more usable bitcoins are, the more valuable they become. If you hold bitcoins, the best thing you can do is to use them and buy more. If you are going to pay for something, don't use cash and don't use a credit card. Use bitcoins. There is no reason why people can't hold bitcoins and use them at the same time.

Most of them don't understand bitcoin and they would naturally think that it is a ponzi scheme which will cause people to lose money or some operation to harass processing power. This isn't the case however, since the source code is open for everyone to review.

Whilst you can wish or desire to profit from bitcoin if it is your sole desire to get rich quick then people tend to think you're just materialistic and don't care about bitcoin at all as long as you can line your pockets from it. Each to their own I say.

If you own bitcoin and don't understand it, then yes, you are lucky, and no you will not be making any money on the next phase which is Bitcoin2.0

the current whales will not make money on their mega wallets ??
i find that hard to believe as people like tim draper  or winklevoss and many others can afford to sit and wait years if nescessary

they will not be pressured to dump at  sub $200 etc as they have tonnes more money or assets

the people who are bitching the loudest are ,quite ironically probably the ones with the least coins who are "fighting over the crumbs" and trying to FUD the price down a bit lower so they can short their 0.4btc Cheesy

When it comes to investments, people who don't dare to put money into an investment (Bitcoin) don't want it to succeed so they can rejoice not having lost an opportunity while staying safe.

The richest people in life did not become rich by working, they became and stayed rich by letting money and people work for them.

It's a myth designed to keep people obeying and working for them, and keep the system alive, but the system is designed to suit the needs of the very rich. And everyone else suffers.

Yeah, go on, work your ass off, earn a few pennies, maybe you can one day get "rich". Maybe you will get promoted some day so you can drive a slightly better car, life in a slightly bigger house. But you still get to waste most of your waking hours at a job you don't like and you will barely see your family and friends. And you will still be far poorer than the guy you call your boss.

Investing is one of the best ways to get rich, yes it may ruin you it you bet wrong, but you can't get rich without taking a risk. Starting up a company, investing in a company or an idea both are risky, but if you just keep trying and keep looking for the right opurtinty you can get out of the rat race, and life a live free of the financial slavery and spend time doing what you actually like to do.

Personally I think people can use bitcoin in whatever way they wish. Isn't that the great thing about it? Want to speculate on it as an investment? Go ahead. Want to use it because you believe in it politically. Great. Want to do both? Even better. Let people be free to interact with their coins and don;t judge them for it.

Who say those who took on a risk did not work at all? I have a day job and basically part of the earnings I get were put into bitcoin. Just a small portion currently. I would say the other group was envy if this ever becomes a success. And they would criticize just because they don't believe what others think. To sums up everything, I still work for my share of coins.

If someone wish to become rich and get into financial freedom by investing in bitcoin!

They are often looked down cheaply like

"lazy ones trying to get rich by doing nothing"

"bitcoin is to spend and it is not an investment to get rich or a get rich quick  scheme"

People often hate those who want to become rich and are labelled greedy!

Why is this so?

It seems as if those who do not have the brains or skills to be innovative with bitcoin should not dream of becoming rich!

why so?
i think it is because most of them are in it blindly. they have heard something, somewhere, or saw a price surge to 1000$ and thought "if i buy now i will be rich" so they entered.
almost all of them lose money and after the first drop in price curse everyone and run away

It does seem a bit tacky when people only get involved with bitcoin to strike it rich, though many of us can see the potential for that to happen so I'd be lying if I said it wasn't a factor, but I'd rather bitcoin be accepted as a valid currency that I can use worldwide rather than just get rich from it and it dissapears.

There's no "Bitcoin 2.0" without Bitcoin. The blockchain wil be here in 80 years and 90% chances are the coin that survived as the main one was Bitcoin.

Imagine if, when the Internet came out, people just bought all of the domain names and held them without doing anything with them*. They knew the Internet would be successful so they figured they'd just buy domains and wait.
Imagine if everyone did that.

All waiting for someone else to make the Internet useful.

*(I know there are domain squatters)

You're not cheap...just useless.

Well capitalists will always capitalize on what they can. Sometimes people can see the potential in a good idea or thing and attempt to hoard it for the future to make gains. I can't blame them to be honest.

The thing is everyone would not be just squatting domain! because some people are instinctly innovative and adventurious that they will figure out how to do things with the internet and become rich!

So there we can see value being created!

but those who dont have those skills could and should hold on to those domains to become rich

problem is when people start complaining
