How long will it be before the long-term downtrend takes Bitcoin below $200 and the price stays there? It's been below $200 a few times in recent weeks, but recovered.

This is not trolling. This is realism. Look at a chart of the last year. These topics are trolling: * Is it possible that 1 BTC be worth $2,000 by the end of 2015? * Go long! 500-1000% within a few years! * [prediction] Next spike $560,000 14 months from now Well, the third is just delusional.

Unrealistic, yes. Trolling, why? They're exploring possibilities, not sowing discontent or pointlessly arguing. As for the initial question, it could happen in the next five minutes or on Christmas day. I ain't got a clue.

I called you a troll because i see no way that it takes more than 2 weeks before we drop below 200$

well there is one thing for sure.. until it happened then it didn't .. your question should be "how long will it be before the long term downtrend of the us economy takes us into the next financial crisis ?? It's been in financial crisis since 2008 and has not really recovered even after massive QE and low interest rates." here is trolling: "Our economy is growing and creating jobs at the fastest pace since 1999,” --BO State of the Union address Jan. 20.

Gonna stay with my previous guess that it will head down to the sub 200 range again within three weeks. I made that prediction about 2 weeks ago, which leaves 1 week left. Although at this point I have to recognize that it might take longer than that, but then again I'm not going to move the goal posts before that.
@Poster: can you close the poll within 7 days from now? That will prevent results being skewed after more than one week has passed. Setting the end of the poll at April 15th will ensure that this poll got little predictive value.

There isn't an option for "never". Prices need not dip under $200 again. We have enough correction for an extended time. Prices are likely to remain the same or go up.

Funny , but topics like that were called trolling topics all the time until bitcoin boomed, and guess what, they turned mostely true.. Anyways, if its going under 200, i doubt it will be sooner than 2-3 months, with a upward movement before the fall as a decoy. But daytrading is such a dull way to trade, its much more simple and safe to buy and wait a year or two, if price doesnt grow much sooner. cheers

Whenever the next feds auction is. They said Q1 and announce it a few weeks beforehand. The price usually goes down on the day of the announcement but crashes heavily when the auction winners start dumping their coins. I would guess before the end of Q1.
