Just wondering which ASIC bitcoin miner would work with the following parameters:

Quiet (in the same room as me)
Preferably wireless, but can be ethernet.
The more power efficiency the better
If it comes with it's own PSU or it is built in, that would be great too!

I currently have a s3 that I got for $200 Canadian with a Power supply which seems like a steal, but would love to get more hardware.

Thanks!

1) you can ... from 32 to 64GH/s only (i have this, my miner is on the back of my ... screen  Grin )
2) wireless is hell in continous connexion. It's even not work correctly with utorrent transfer ... so, with miner  Roll Eyes when DOA is the key ...
3) build your chip, bro ... if you think it's easy.  Kiss
4) Majority of 1-2Th/s miner have a PSU integrated.

1 option is to use syscooling designed S5 water cool module with a higher quality pump from Ebay...

then you could have over 2TH (2.3 - 2.7TH out of 1 unit), however the PSU is not included.

You can use the server grade PSU to lower the expense if you are in the environment with no flammable items around the mining operation.  Other wise, high end regular ATX computer PSU to power them up!

May be this U3 or U3 v2.  it is quiet but hash power is not strong tho.  These are to have fun, or go for the luck.  Point it to the solo mining and see if you can hit the block!

Quiet Miner is hard to come by now days with the hashing power in TH level.  Bitmain products and even other manufactures, it is noisy.

I guess what I'm trying to do is mine 'covertly' using 'free' power.  Right now the s3 is a little questionable but hasn't raised any eyebrows yet.

This is just my opinion, you do as you wish, but you might have more success by being open with whomever is actually paying for the power (since we know nothing is actually free), and try to sell it as space heaters since this winter is shaping up to be pretty miserable. Even if you volounteer to offset some of the electrical cost, you could get a lot more miners plugged in by being honest.

I really enjoyed the S3's, I still have a couple in my basement for extra heat. Apart from maybe an S4 (which I have zero experience with, only S1-S3's), you won't find too many miners more quiet and cost-effective than the S3.  You could also look into the Avalon 4's, they are apparently very quiet, provide 1 TH/s, but need both external PSU and controller (you could get a Ras-Pi with wifi though to be remote). But I don't feel they are very good value for your money, at least not right now.

Get a antminer s4, run the quite fan mode to get the fan speed down to 2800 rpm. Pretty quite guy.
