Don't sweat it. I think I just "lost" 30 BTC... Back when I bought them all at $400 USD each. (It is now $217 USD each) ... oh boy oh boy oh boy ...

You bought 60 BTC at $400?  Cry  I miss the $400 too.
Yes, Bitcoin crashed , at least you can still hold them and wait for up. Good luck.

im sure dabs will be holding it anyway
goodthing i only bought 1 BTC before the major crash, bought a few at the bottom and enjoy the pump ride before, so yeah im on positive earning now

I'm holding. I didn't exactly buy that much, but I used up some of it to pay for assorted expenses (in the hopes that BTC would "appreciate" as time goes by.)

That's the goal long term. Maybe I'll go buy some more now.

The worst that can happen is I go broke right? That's not so bad.

Online gambling can be so degen. Thousands gone without any kind of human interaction or other kind of entertainment. At least if I lose that much in a casino I'll get some free drinks and maybe a room.

i think PD doesnt ask you if you hit the max bet button :/

Yeah, they don't warn you. If so, I wouldn't have lost that 12.5BTC. I would be losing just 0.4BTC Sad

I`ll prob see you come back at the end of this year.

the price will fall so hard you`ll buy back at $40-50. most people who think the price will jump from $200 to $1,000 are on drugs and dont know how real economics work to create value.

I made quite  a big loss of 5BTC today. I had 8.5BTC left, and at PD, I made a big bet and won 4BTC. Then, instead of betting the 4BTC, as I usually do so that I won't lose my principal, (I think I accidentally hit max, otherwise it is not possible), I bet my entire balance for some odds (1.4x or so), and Lost!

Just for the info: my total loss = my total earning till date for 2 years here = 17BTC. Sad
Bet IDs 3738681123 AND 3738420804 Primedice

I made the simple mistake of not checking my bet twice, since I was kinda nervous. Sad

So, goodbye guys, I realized that once you lose all your Bitcoins, you will lose interest.

I will probably a few years later. (I am now wishing contrary to what I wished before, that the price will go to some $50 or so, so that I might be able to buy back some and come back here. Smiley )

Goodbye

Yours sincerely

You lost a total of 17BTC and 5BTC in this case. So it seems you have been losing regularly. Its best that you avoid gambling sites altogether.

You should stay here and get some Bitcoins. If the price zooms to $1000 or more you will be very miserable, much worse than you are feeling now.

Yeah, that really is a shame. It could have went both ways though, you could have accidentally clicked max bet and won. Just take this as an expensive lesson learnt, if you do decide to come back to the bit-coin scene that is.

Still, don't have coins that you can't afford to lose on a gambling website, then.

OP will come back. He just needs to blow off some steam, i am sure he will start feeling better once he starts realising that this is not the end of the world and he just lost a bit of play money. It can be difficult when you lose money but, you just need some time to get off that feeling and i am sure he will come back stronger and wiser to boot. I wish you good luck Watoshi and await your return to the fold in the near future. Smiley

Bitcoin works well for gambling, but just as with normal money, if you lose money, it's probably worth quitting.

When they have a gambling addiction, they need to know it then act to not gamble anymore. What about a business or foundation to help the gambling bitcoin addicts. It could help the Bitcoin image.

They never stop gambling until they get help unless they are super strong willed but most are not to be addicted in the first place.

It is an illness a horrible one at that and it needs a lot of work to over come, good luck to you guys who have gambling addictions as you will surly need it.
