The user polynesia https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=340977 wants to fund half the loan, that is, he has agreed to lend me 0.25 so am in need of another 0.25

Sorry, there was no mention that this was to fund just half the loan that you wanted to take. I was under the impression that this would be the full loan.
Plus I realized that there is an additional 0.2 BTC outstanding here.

Sorry about declining here.

On a separate note, the interest mentioned here is less than the interest mentioned in PM. Not that it matters.

This seems to be a likely example of a confidence scam.

It appears the OP is taking out loans in escalating sizes. I am not saying this is 100% the case but it does have signs of this. I would put the chances of repayment near 15% at best.

The interest rate that i have metnioned here is for the remaining 0.25 btc but yours is still 15%.

so do this mean you've changed your mind?

^^ I understand this, but you need to know something not everyone out there is a scammer , all the loans that i have ever received on this forum have all been repaid.

But everyone is free to make their own choice to loan me the btc or not.

Am still looking for someone to lend me this amount. But if 0.5 is a bit high, the loan can be split into two i.e 0.25

I'm kind of worried.. you already took a 0.2 BTC loan from me like 2 days ago (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=947801.40)

Why do you need so much more? (not saying you are a scammer but it looks strange..)

Watch out for account hacking, have him sign a previously used btc address or something. Smiley

Interest amount is quite high.
Don't be tempted by greed. There's a reason why the forum has a no collateral no loan rule...
