If my calculations are fine, we are about 22000 blocks away from the next halving. The amount of the coins in the block will drop to a whopping 1.25 WBB per block.
I guess it may affect not only the price, but also stability of the network - miners may not want to mine it any more, as the reward will be too low. Would difficulty fix that? Anyway, interesting time ahead.
