It says that when the TX is still unconfirmed, when it gets confirmed it will show a green tick. Sometimes electrum shows unverified even if the TX is confirmed, when that happens just change the servers and it should show as confirmed.

Try to go to blockchain.info and insert your address to check your transaction status. Sometimes there might be a delay of few minutes between what is showing up on your electrum list and what is shown on the block explorer. That is due to which electrum server you are connected to.

sometimes you need to let Electrum updates the blockchain headers (downloads them) to see if it is confirmed or not. also when in doubt you can check the tx on an online block explorer like blockchain.info
