Read posts #1 and #2 in this[1] thread. tl;dr: Something you give the other party (or better a trusted 3rd party) that can easily be sold for ~120% of the amount you borrowed.

Sorry if that come across wrong, Ill not cover your loan. I currently have one pending and Ill wait till its over before giving out the next. I just wanted to explain collateral to you.

Not sure if and how PSN accounts could be reset, but someone might take your account here as collateral. Not 100% sure about that either as I did not research the going rates for Jr. accounts.

Also keep in mind that there are a few people giving out loans without collateral.
