Bitcointalk is where I mainly get my regular dose of cryptocurrency news. Sometimes I get some exclusives from the Facebook pages of Bloomberg and CNN.

Well, CNN news and googlenews for the latest news about bitcoin/crypto. Specifically regarding the progress of the price I always monitor in coinmarketcap.

Personally, I think that for Bitcoin news it's best to look for information on forums such as this, on the social media and on the Blogosphere. Unfortunately, the mainstream media still tries to understand Bitcoin and does not offer news about it in a timely manner.

Following are my sources for bitcoins news:

1) I had subscribe to popular YouTube channels related to crypto in my country. They are good source of information regarding recent legal laws related to bitcoins, updates being made by popular exchanges in my country and so on.

2) Some of the exchanges I use for trading keep sending notifications per week with latest news and developments related to crypto. Finally, I am active here on this forum as well.

The internet is my number 1 source of bitcoin/cryptocurrency especially in social medias, youtube, and then followed by news news on television because i only seldom watch tv nowadays. News spreads fast in social media than in television today.

News has an important part and role in the society. It connects people from different part of the world, and to inform public about events around them and on how it could give impact to their daily living.  However, nowadays fake news has become very uncontrolled and what we can do about it is to teach ourselves to be accountable in what we do and say and filter the authentic and truth news by checking its legit sources and people behind it. Some legit websites are bitcointalk.org, Reddit, investopedia.com, totalbitcoin.org, CNN, and cryptocurrencyfacts.com. For some who knows other legit websites and sources, please share.

Hello cryptovigilante,

We always suggest you use multiple sources of news/information to form your own opinion. There is a lot of news which could be slightly biased, therefore it is always wise to check sources and other information. Like said before it is wise to get your information from different sources but also from different platforms.

Youtube - We suggest the following channels: Altcoin Buzz, DataDash, Suppoman and Aantonop.
Reddit - We suggest the following subreddits: CryptoCurrency, Bitcoin, BitcoinBeginners and CryptoMarkets
News websites - We suggest the following websites: Coindesk, 99bitcoins, CCN, Blockonomi and Cointelegraph
Telegram and Slack - You should join the channels in your region or the groups of the coin you are interested in.

This should be a good start for getting up to date news on bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. If you want more suggestions you can always contact us in a DM.

With kind regards,
The Anycoin Direct team

what are your main sources of Bitocin/Crypto news?
I mostly come to the bitcointalk.org forum and the RedditBitcoin community to know what’s happening and to also know what’s trending lol. There are some news that I might not see when surfing the net, but when I come to anyone of these communities (Reddit and Bitcointalk) I will see a thread where people are discussing one thing or the other that I don’t even know about. So I will count these two communities as my number one reliable source of getting the news about cryptocurrency. Apart from the two I do go to CryptoCoinsNews, Coindesk, and some others too.

I'm using twitter, facebook, google and other social media for an updates and news about Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency. This sites are very useful and informative.

I also use social networks to always keep abreast of the latest news about crypto-currencies. But in addition to facebook, twitter, telegram and others, I'm looking for information on news resources devoted to crypto-currencies. One of my favorite sites is https://news.bitcoin.com/ There's a lot of useful information. What I like is that on the site there are not only announcements of the latest news, but also analytical materials.

Never ever signed up at Reddit, not even aware of Coindesk. I don't usually go to sites to manually monitor any events or updates regarding Bitcoin. What I only do is go to Coinmakrket cap for its current market standing and status. I only rely on Bitcointalk, since those news came from mentioned sites were being shared here. Also, I am following "legit" Telegram group channels for the same reason.
