Chinese Bitcoin Exchanges Huobi and Bter Experiencing Issues

Trouble seems to be brewing over in China, as two of the country’s major exchanges have been experiencing issues over the past 12 hours, and we are still awaiting official word on what is going on at this point in time. Rumours are circulating on Reddit that one - or maybe even both exchanges - have been compromised.

Impossible, unless it was someone from inside the company. It would be very tempting to hit an exchange the old fashioned way, like they used to do with the banks. Just think about it, they have incredible amounts of money stored on their servers, and I doubt there's a single armed guard on duty there.

I was holding a certain amount of coins that I had for trading purposes always in my exchange accounts.

But that has stopped, I sent everything to my offline wallets.

I have not even have a single satoshi there now. If I need to sell something I will just make a deposit, and sell after it posted.

They seemed not to learn too much with their NXT hack. I wonder who will trust them now...
