Ok guys (and gals) I need some help...

I withdrew a decent amount of NXT from Cryptsy to my wallet twenty-three days ago and still nothing.  Two support tickets have been sent in, and both responses are "they are performing general maintenance" and will be processing shortly.

Has anyone else had this issue?  I've had issues with waiting a day or two, but nothing like this. I'm starting to think they are holding withdraws and hoping people just forget about them.  In the last fifteen days: no updates, no responses to my e-mails...nothing.

Is there a Cryptsy contact on here I can report this to?  This crap is one huge reason why casual traders (me) are completely turned off by crypto-currency in general.

Mods:  If this is better on another sub-forum please move.

This post should be endlessly bumped. Along with every other post about Crypsy fraud.

They are gaming you to see if you give up, and let them keep the money.  There is no other explanation for an exchange to be doing this to so many people, for so many months in a row.

You have three options:

1) give up

2) contact the florida Better Business Bureau and join the many complainants trying to regain their funds

3) lurk on the cryptsy chat and politely but insistently harass any mod that shows up with your ticket number and request for resolution. That's how i finally got my funds back.

good luck man. and for anyone else, get your money the fuck outa cryptsy while you can.

You can report it to this guy. He works for Cryptsy.

You know, I've probably made 1,000-2,000 withdrawals from Cryptsy with only some small delays...
But NXT is a fairly unusual coin with a unique API... and special requirements for an account's first transaction.

Maybe you should post your NXT address... and try to get one of the Cryptsy posters here to help you.

Personally, the only crypto I've lost in transit is cryptonote... I've lost both XMR and BBR multiple times.

Have you sent a support ticket? They usually respond quickly.

Did you try rescanning the wallet from the start after upgrading the daemon version? Pretty sure both of them were susceptible to coins not showing up because of wallets from old versions sending coins to newer versions without first rescanning the entire chain.

6 days. i am sure he did.

Should have been more accurate - first ticket was sent in 23 days ago.  So the withdraw occurred 25 days ago.  Second ticket was sent in a week later or so and they combined it with the first.  My last response from them was 15 days ago.

Never had an issue with cryptsy before - many withdraws, including NXT, since 2013 (even before the big update in Oct? of 2013).

I am a member of the Crypti Team....... I can tell you that Boris has worked with all 3 exchanges and seems to get nowhere.  It is almost like there is someone paying them to not enable withdrawals.  This has gone on for over 3 months.  I also have XCR in limbo that was sent from Cryptsy and never arrived in my wallet.

Now with the additional skullduggery going on at Bter, we are exploring many options to work around the 65% of XCR that Bter now has locked up.  Situation is even worse for NODE coin.  They had almost all their coins and BTC at Bter.

BTW, we now have the faucet up and running........... you can get 50XCR every 12 hrs at http://free.crypti.me

Yup, I've had several deposit/withdrawal issues with Cryptsy, but they did all get sorted out in the end.

Just keep on bumping the support guys every few days.......good luck.

(And good luck to the Crypti boyz as well, sure hope BTER releases the remaining alt-coins regardless of what eventually happens with the 7000 BTC)
