New to BTC... I Hope You Are Warm.

Hello. I am new to using Bitcoin, but I have been aware of the coin for a while. I even was a miner back when they first came out, but lost interest and changed computers. I hope I am just aware enough to avoid the spanking line initiation. So, here goes my question....

I have a Coinbase account and have purchased one bitcoin. I have a paper wallet and and I want to move some some coin from from the coinbase account into my paper wallet. I have not done this before and would like to know exactly how to do it. I looked and did not see a tutorial that fit my question, so I am going to throw it out and enjoy the flaming and possible wind up with an answer.

The cold has been brutal this weekend here in Sarasota, Florida. My Uncle saw frost on the roofs of his neighbors.

I grew up in New Paltz (exit 18 on the Thruway). I talked to Dad a bit earlier today and he said it was about 10, but it was -BS yesterday and the day before! My half bro lives in Buffalo and my family has a camp on the Sacandaga. I really only miss the skiing, not so much the shoveling. If you move near SRQ, I will shovel the snow off your driveway for free all next winter.

A better title would be " New to BTC... I Hope You Are Warned." Of all the scam happening, and to be careful.

I am not wanting to scam or turn any tricks. I basically had an idea to put a sign on my car and advertise to teach people how to get up and running on BTC.... charge them a few dollars and get get them up and running. I don't have to be the BTC savant, I just have to teach them about the same thing I am learning.

Sending bitcoins to a paper wallet is easy. Assuming that you have a paper wallet ready, simply send your bitcoins from Coinbase to the "Load & Verify" address on the paper wallet. Before you do that, just make sure you have the private key, because you can't retrieve the bitcoins without the private key. If the private key is encrypted, make sure that you store the password somewhere in case you forget it. Never show the private key to anyone.

Sorry for noobish question, but why I want to use paper wallets? I understand that they are providing an additional security. But I thought that encryption of bitcoin is sufficient and considered to be safe

Do I scan the QR codes with my phone and the transfers take place automatically?
Do I have to input my password and user name to access the accounts?
Is there a transaction fee where if I bounce coin back and forth to become familiar with the protocols?
Would moving money be the same for another as it would be for me?

Most phone wallets will let you scan a QR code in order to get the destination address.
I'm not sure which accounts you are talking about. If you BTC is on Coinbase, you will have to log in to send it to the paper wallet. They have a phone app, but I have never used it.
There is usually a transaction fee, but not when sending from Coinbase.

Yes, they provide higher security. Encrypting your paper wallet is better so the private key isn't leaked at a glance.

Your computer/mobile can be affected via viruses/malwares/keyloggers. So if you are connected to internet and your computer is affected with Bitcoin related malwares, there is a high chance you loosing your Bitcoin. Using a paper wallet or offline computer/phone, your private keys aren't exposed to internet but can be stolen by a person who have access to.
