Indeed. Just don't store your passwords anywhere digital. If you want to, save it on paper.

So what is the difference between them? Premium account on LastPass costs just $12 (around £8, or AU$16) per year, allows you to use it across mobile devices.

Depends on what you need.. They are both great must have products. I'm using lastpass and I'm happy with it (though I didn't try keepass). Just try to find your needs at the reviews - http://lmgtfy.com/?q=lastpass+vs+keepass

Lastpass, a very nice tool, but remember not to store the most vital passwords there. I use it for crappy things like different forums and unimportant mailboxes.
Obviously you need to use Two factor authentication for the critical stuff..

Look at UPM (universal password manager). It's not very well known, but been around for a long time. It's the only password keeper I'm aware of that is completely private and requires no third party service. You can share your encrypted database of passwords with your other devices if you choose, or you can keep the database on an offline device like a flash drive, accessing it only when you need it.
I'd be interested to know if anyone has found any vulnerabilities in UPM.

I like safewallet. I use it mainly to generate passwords. I'm pretty sure there are phone versions too. I just checked and I guess it's been abandoned but no reason to not use it.

I personally only trust Open source programms . so you should give KeePass a shoot , official website here => http://keepass.info/
