Hello guys/gals

I watched a report on TV here in Australia on the 6 October 2014, it was made by Four corners and was titled "Privacy Lost"

here is a little info about it

"This week on Four Corners, Frontline producer Martin Smith explores the secret relationship between Silicon Valley and the National Security Agency, investigating how the Government and tech companies worked together to gather and warehouse data. That data includes the communication of Americans and anyone else who communicates via US data systems."

The report was aired on the 6th Oct and available to watch on ABC's website until the 20th Oct.
I was telling a friend about it at work and I suggested he should watch it and i found it on You Tube for him.

Here's the thing I went looking for the clip on youtube and it has been removed can't find it on youtube ! found this..

Strange because other Four Corners reports can be viewed on Youtube no problem.

I did some digging and found it

Length 45 min     ( excellent watch )

Since Bitcoin and the internet are interlaced and privacy is also a factor I thought people might be interested in watching this, so i bring it to the Bitcoin community  Grin
Its a eye opener for sure and it looks to have caught the attention of some one to have it removed.

Enjoy  Cool

Doubt it makes a diference, because if they can get access to your computer they can also get you encrypted files.
Idea is interesting, but i doubt it will progress, as people will be in it for the money, and not because they want to assist the cause.

cheers

I don't think it is a technological problem, I think it is a political problem, those agencies will do whatever they can if they can get away with it, no matter how secure, or how secure you think networks and OSs are.
