Hey guys,

I had a user submit negative feedback about my account in the amount of 1.5 BTC.

The occurance is as follows - He had a thread with overpriced domains, i said they were overpriced and he should consider lowering them, he closed it and sent negative feedback obviously lacking a reference.

We have never had an exchange of any sort.

What can be done about this?

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

You can contact the person in question, but since they did not give a reference link and the feedback itself is more a rant than actual feedback I wouldnt bother.

Im not really here, its just your imagination.

Haha yeah it's nothing to stress about, just kinda a kick in the ass.  We had an arguement in one of his threads, I tried messaging him but no answer. Not the biggest deal in the world, just kind of sucks to have sitting there for voicing an opinion in a forum.  Thanks for the reply.

As mentioned, you can always try and sort it out between you and him. That's pretty much it as the forum policy is not to moderate Trust feedback unless it's linking to illegal sites, the user posted copious amounts of gibberish feedback to flood the page, it's obvious advertising, etc.

Everybody ends up getting crap trust feedback like that. It's untrusted so it won't show up in your score anyway.

Trust is unmoderated, so only the person who left it can remove it. Despite this, I wouldn't worry about it much, his ratings are untrusted and no one will pay much attention to it, given that he doesn't provide a valid reason for leaving it either.
