I see many marketing campaigns to "buy your signature" and pay per post for different member levels. I also see members offering their accounts as collateral for loans. Obviously BitcoinTalk.org accounts have developed some level of value over time. I'm curious to add up the average value of accounts and track them over time. Let's start!

What do you think your account is worth?

3.  Member:
4.  Full Member:
5.  Senior Member:

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Quickseller? I think my account would be worth roughly $100 but I have no idea since I haven't looked into it at all.

Turn off the news and read. Watch Psywar, learn something important about our society and PR, why and how it got started and how it brainwashes you.

Quickseller is one of the many account traders here.
you may sell your account to him or buy one from him (i dont know if he buys any account though - i think he does not buy accounts with neg trust)

Hah i'd like to know value of my account but it took quite some work as i have 10 days spent here and that means let's say 10 $ per hour x 24 x 10 = your account should be worth 2400$? Grin

The only online casino on which i won something. I made 17mBTC from 1mBTC in like 15 minutes.  This is not paid AD!

1 most likely zero unless it can rank up just by posting
2 maybe .005 otherwise see 1
3 in the past they have sold for .07 - .13~ but the market is more saturated now. I am selling them for .05 (unless they can rank up just by posting)
4 in the past between .15 - .25 depending on activity now probably closer to .1 - .17
5 in the past .4 - .6 depending on activity however now probably closer to .35 - .45 this may change soon
6 in the past 1 - 3 however even heros are hard to sell.
7 hard to say but probably 1.5 - 3.5 depending on a number of things, it would take a while to sell though

DUCK! Replies coming in fast!  Shocked

I guess I owe a reply since I started this. My valuations (NOT offers or solicitations):

1.  Newbie: Zip/Zero/Nadda
2.  JR Member: Zip/Zero/Nadda
3.  Member: Getting there... 0.05 BTC (~$10 USD)?
4.  Full Member: Good... 0.1 BTC (~$25 USD)?
5.  Senior Member: Better... 0.4 BTC (~$100 USD)?
6.  Hero: Best... 0.9 BTC (~$200 USD)?
7.  Legendary: Priceless!

Let the free market roll

EDIT: QuickSeller seems to have the monopoly. Anyone else actively "investing" in accounts?

I've been offered 100 BTC for my account before, though I'm not sure how legit the offer was. Regardless, I told them to buzz off.

Newbie accounts can be worth up to 0.03 btc. I saw a 2011 account sold for 0.03 btc and 2012 for 0.02 btc.
No one is buying senior for 0.4 and Hero for 0.9 btc now. I saw on the auctions no one is bidding them at 0.1 btc.

Reputation, integrity, respect, etc. This is why I believe accounts should be non-transferable.

Agreed, most people want to buy accounts so they can participate in signature campaigns, they should be made to put in the hard work like most of us.

Me too. I wont sell this personal account as I put in a lot of effort into it. I would rather earn on Signature campaign instead. However, I will also train new account so as to sell them.

So sad! This profile does not appear as the #1 result (on anonymous) Google searches anymore.

Time to be active on the crypto forums again? Proud to be one of the few Legendary members of the Sparkie Red Dot!

Gonna put this on my resume if I ever join a cryptocurrency/blockchain industry!
