Hello all,

I am currently in a bit of a bad situation having recently been put on Employment Support Allowance here in the UK. This basically means I have been declared unfit for work due to problems with depression. I am awaiting the first payment of my benefits which are due on Friday, February 27th, so the amount I am looking for is simply to cover food/transport until then.

I realise I am a new account on here and this is a very long shot as lenders would prefer not to invest in accounts with no verifiable trust level. I was wondering if anyone could guide or assist me in letting me know what would be acceptable collateral for this amount, how to provide it, and any ways of proving reputation.

Please don't take offense if I'm making an idiot out of myself here. I'm having a hard time of it and figured this was worth a shot. I appreciate your time.

You need to provide something that can both easily and quickly be sold in the event that you do not repay. If you want to have a physical item held then you would need to wait until the item is in the possession of the lender prior to receiving the loan and bear the costs of shipping both ways.

Most collateral is generally going to be in the form of some digitally scarce digital asset (primarily altcoins)

Thank you both for the help and advice. Yeah, I only really have physical assets - probably the most easily sellable/verifiable of value being autographs with C.O.A.s

Given the time to ship them to and from a lender it's looking like it'd barely be worth it and I'd probably best pursue another route. The couple of banks I tried to obtain a short term loan from didn't want to lend such a small amount. I don't really want to go the payday loan route due to their massive interest rates. If anyone has any other suggestions they'd be gratefully received. Thanks again.

then id suggest you to look for a nearby bitcoiner who can lend you , anyway you wont get a loan here for that massive ammount , you need to provide collateral
