What was it used for on hackforums ? Was it on any exchanges ? Is it used for anything right now ? I'm looking at the pool and i can see that the network is in a state of LAN-joke. Concerning the price that seems pumped and futile, are there explanations on perspectives, or honest thoughts on the fact that is one of x1337 scrypt clone-coins without a truthful past or a real future ?

It was and is used on hackforums for many trades, a large majority of the products in the hackforums marketplace can be bought with omnicoin. Omnicoin is currently listed on Bittrex ( https://bittrex.com/Market/?MarketName=BTC-OMC ) Omnicoin is still definitely being used, popularity is on the rise and so is the value. The price is not pumped, it has been steadily increasing as popularity increases because we are steadily releasing new innovations for OMC. More big things are in the works and soon to be released shortly. OMC definitely has a real future, it isn't just a write-off clone. OMC has a solid grounding and focus. Unfortunately, you are correct about the network mining state. A few miners are burst mining which is having a largely negative impact. Hopefully as more people begin to mine, the network hashrate will even out and the difficulty will stop spiking so much. |

Yeah, and unlike most new alt coins, omnicoin has already been around for over 1 year and is well established. I wouldn't bother with most of the new altcoins because they won't last long, but OMC is going strong and will only keep improving. |

I wouldn't bother with most of the new altcoins because they won't last long, but OMC is going strong and will only keep improving. For sure. Our coin is on bittrex that has active trading. And the demand for OmniCoin is slowly increasing. But currently our blockchain network is horrible...There is a mutipool mining OMC. http://www.bitcoindark.ca/pool_stats About 8GH/s.... We need a few more stable miners |

Fortune pool is run independently of the Omnicoin team, try using sparkle or fluffy pool but I think your issue has probably been resolved now and you have received your coins. Sorry for your inconvenience. If you experience issues with one of the pools, don't hesitate to contact the pool owner. |
