Wow that is crazy. I used to play poker there often. Their business though really slowed down as of this year. About a year ago they used to have a lot more users.

I think the issue of being in a "perpetual state of jeopardy" suggests that perhaps homeland security may have been looking to seize the site due to all the off shore gambling done by U.S. citizens.

There are a lot of sellers on local bitcoins that sell their winnings to cash buyers.  That's a lot of tax-free money the U.S. Treasury isn't able to collect.
