There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I'm using a personal link to track how many signups I get through bitcointalk. This way I can see what website is getting me the most traffic because I have posted this on a few other websites.

I normally just check google analytics...  Wink

Do you really want to call your site BTC-FLOW Version2?

Why would you want to associate with a scam/ponzi.. Huh

It is mainly to attract attention, a few people have considered my site the next version of btc-flow even though it is nowhere near a ponzi. I think it's because of the leveling up feature, I'm not sure.

Maybe I will remove that out of the title, we'll see.

EDIT: I removed it from title, hopefully that clears up the confusion.

Why don't you just use a bitly tracking link?

I've already tried that, but the link just gets removed as "Suspicious Link".
