That's a shame, around here (NE U.S) they are more common due to the number of tuning shops and knowledgable mechanics that service them. Still rare to see but there are about half a dozen on Ebay that are less than an hour drive away. I can't justify it right now though, still enjoying my 2011 Lancer Ralliart. Not nearly as fast but it does handle a bit better.

I am a huge fan of the rotary. I wish more manufacturers would offer a rotary model. (Or mazda would offer it in their Miata, at the very least...) I would very much like to find me an RX-7 too, though they're never listed for sale around these parts.

People like them too much.  Embarrassed

I had a stock 89 RX-7 GTUS with about 11k original miles on it until I sold it to a friend a couple years ago.  And a 93 Comp Yellow Mica R1 FD, but I sold that one too.  I love RX-7s, but they're just way too delicate IMHO.

Yea too delicate for a daily driver. I had all kinds of issues when I used my 93 to go 6 miles to work everyday. Not enough time to get the engine warm enough. Yellow Mica or the Montego Blue is what I'd like to get now, though I'm not sure how many blue are left. Last I heard it was only double digits.
