Dear KRS,
My name is Tim Wiechers, I'm 27 years old and from the Netherlands. I have huge respect for your work and thats also why I try to wake up the world through a mission, and why I tried to break into thr bohemian grove as well. See the footage on my facebook when you scroll down.
Let me tell you why I write this e-mail.
I left the Netherlands, quit my job as a breakdance teacher, freerunning teacher and gym instructor etc, and decided I wanted to get away.
A lot of bullshit happened at that moment in my life (loss of my drug addicted mother, girlfriend leaving me, not finishing school, engaging into drugs myself etc)
I had become a rebel, with a big middlefinger against the world. And I wanted to change the world.
I started out with the page, 'help Tim around the world', and my aim was to cycle to peru without money. Just by volunteering and collecting money for charity. Greenpeace helped me at that time, but eventually I heard nothing from them again. I thought I would get money from the amount of friends I acquired on facebook (3000, with a 1000 likes on my page), but it didn't work. On top of that, I got robbed in La Paz, Mexico, on the way. I lost everything except my passport and some clothes. And to make matters worse, I hadn't planned too good. My spanish was still shit, and the voluntary jobs were hard to get to.
My whole plan changed. I found out that I had to hitchhike back to America, Humboldt county to be precise, and so I did.
On the way, I had to find voluntary jobs and couchsurfing hosts who would help me out nexy to my friends and family sending me money. I didn't want to ask for too much, so when I couldn't find work, I stayed on the streets on my way to Humboldt. I got to the most amazing adventures on my way and the best life lessons, including me writing my goodbye letter in Mexico dessert cause I was dehydrated, fed up and nobody picked me up almost. I ended up being harassed by gay guys in San Francisco, sleeping at a nudists house full of nude people, got threatened to be shot at by methheads somewhere else who thought I was a cop, did a bit of peyote with a native American I met in the Redwoods, ended up in a religious cult, drove in a Ferrari with bombastic hiphop and this typical Afro - American whith whom I was smoking a joint with while he was freestyling and I was beatboxin etc. Etc.
In Humboldt I lived in Nature for a while, taking my food from the community center while I was looking for work. There has been a mountain lion close to my camp, and I'm not sure if we also had a bear in our camp one night. I was camping with more people mostly.
Eventually I did not really give a fuck anymore. I found an awesome guy who appeared to grow, but was not too much about getting things done asap. In those days I took a lot of acid, went longboarding down hills on acid, got drunk a lot etc.
Eventually, I figured I couldn't continue like this, and I was spending too much money. The same money that I earned on a day.
So, I began looking for more serious growers, and I found them. After working for 2 more people, I met this amazing woman in the trimmig room who also wanted to go to Peru. I would meet up with her later. First things first, as I saw I was close to the Bohemian Grove. Since my journey was about changing the world, I also tried to get the message across to people about what the elite does: I tried to break in the place and shoot some footage. Partly I succeeded, and I even had an interview with a former employee about the grove. You can see the footage on my timeline.
Eventually, I traveled back to Mexico, Guatemala, belize, etc, etc, been in the Rainbow family, seen the poverty etc, seen people with a lot of guns in El Salvador. Hitchhiked with this other couple in trucks. Slept at the border while one of us 4 had to be on guard for 2 hours interchangeably.
Since I didnt find work straight away in Humboldt, My money was soon gone and now Im borrowing money again. It is hard to figure out jobs around here, but of course I need to keep on trying. I have to admit, I need to grow up. I had gotten a bit lazy with my not giving a fuck attitude and anger issues. Especially now there is someone back in my life and a baby later.. We slept at a police station, a busstop and she is pretty tired of having to maintain me. Which I understand. Especially since we are pregnant now...
We figured we go back once we are in Costa Rica. Settle for a month, try to make some money for my ticket back and then I need to find work again in The Netherlands or Spain.
BUT.
I want to give it one last shot, and not only for myself. I want to see if I can get some sponsors for me, cycling to peru, so I can get some money, make a documentary and have something for the baby and the mother. In The Netherlands I'm in a huge debt, and Im not thinking about going back there. I have been illegal in the states too. I'm a bit in trouble to say the least, and I want to provide.
So my request, would you, or somebody you know, sponsor me getting from Costa Rica to Peru, while making a documentary?
A couple of ideas as I might need to change my way to get there, since more people cycle.
* get there solely by 'parkour' movement
* get there on a unicycle
* get through a place walking solely on my hands
* do an ayahuasca ceremony to face my last demons and be able to be a better father, teaher, lover, friend etc. Not only for me, but for all my friends and family.
If I get enough money, I can help in charity at a random place that needs it like
* help building a waterpit
* give free freerunning workshops on as much schools as possible on the way and teach the kids about the values and morals of creativity, acceptance and out of the box thinking in your own way and why this is so much needed in our society today
* spend a day with some poor families, take them out to dinner etc.
* expose and investigate things there for awareness
* document good sollutions about what people are doing against it and what they do to make a better world
* educate children through, for instance, Hip Hop by giving classes.
I have allready 2 painters and a photographer who I want to interview. They want to change the worldtoo and make everybody aware.
The photographer is Diana JQ. She has a website but I unfortunately cannot ask for her site right now cause she doesnt believe in me making this. She wont give me the link. But I bet its on google.

Of course I want to find way more people.
I need to do it within 4 months from now.
I know I can get to peru in 3 months, could you please help me? It is my last try, my girlfriend is angry that I still try this and dont think about the baby. In fact, I do. I want to have a little bit more money then a 9 to 5 job because of the debt and the baby. I need money for a video camera, and a bycicle. I want to make this one of the best documentaries. I know this is a big statement but I have experience with video editing in adobe premiere. And, as I mentioned before, am not affraid to risk my life for truth, like in my footage about thr bohemian grove. I didnt have the right equipment since I didnt have any money at that moment. But I have proof that I got in there for a little bit.
Also, I want to send out a message, I want to help out the world and I want to show that you should not give up. And that last part is getting there, but not just yet. I have allready done so much, but I can do way more, if you guys help me.
Eventually I am gonna write a book about all of this in English and Dutch, including background stories about me, the people I encounter etc.
In exchange for sponsoring me, I will mention your help in my documentary the way you want and of course in my book too. I had a lot of followers so the book will sell.
