Im having a very difficult time understanding how to connect 15 sp20s to my lan network. They are all powered correctly. This is the setup. I have a modem that connects to the coaxial cable and to the source Ethernet. The source Ethernet connects to a router with 4 lan options and wifi. One of the ports is connected to a 16 port switch, which then connects to each miner. My problem is when i pull up myminer.io only 4 show up?Huh I am extremely confused on how to fix this. A small reward will be offered to the person (to whom I deem fit) who helps me solve this problem asap.

Thanks everyone in advanced, best community in the world!!

Its going to take more time but perhaps it would be best to do one miner at a time. If they come out of the factory (or where ever you bought them from) with a static IP address you could have a bunch of them with the same address and you'll never get that worked out.

Also, could be that some of them are on a different IP range than your network.

Example... Your network is 192.168.0.x and some of the miners are 192.168.1.x.

Well, I'm just guessing so bare with me.

Plug in one at a time, find it via your routers "connected devices list" or "DHCP list" and go to that address in a web browser. Config as needed, move onto the next miner.

There are IP scanning programs you can run in Windows that will find everything connected to your network. You can probably use one of those to find it too.

Sounds like a few issues could be possible.

Your out of IPs on your DHCP Pool

You have a few that you need to do an SD Recovery on

Check your firewall config make sure all protocols are allowed outbound.

I'm guessing that some of the SP20's IP addresses are conflicting.  You should set up one at a time and change each SP20's IP address to something not taken on the network (something like 192.168.1.100, then 192.168.1.101, etc.).  If you set them up one by one like that no IPs will conflict, and all will work just fine on your network.

Find all the IPs on the network using a tool like nmap or similar. Then you can access the interface for each SP20 by entering the IP address in your browser.

How many IPs do you see when they're all connected doing a network scan?

you have to wait for them.

they can be slow to startup.

--------------------------------------------------------

A do you have an ip scanner program ?

Angry ip or advanced ip scanner work with windows.

plug in only 1 machine scan the network do this every 5 minutes until it shows up.

once it shows up remove it.  you know you have a good machine and a good cable.  put the good mach in the good pile

test every machine  1 at a time on the good cable.

if every machine signs on to the one known good cables  you have bad cables.----very common and will drive you nuts unless you do what I say.

if 11 machines sign on to the one known good cable you have some bad machines.

lastly once you know the above the third issue can be a switch with bad ports.

I know it sucks to test this with 16 ports and 16 machines and 16 cables. lots of combos.

btw  the laptop never connects to the sp20 it should connect to the switch.

modem--router------switch -------- devices of all kinds such as a printer, a few sp20's  , a few pc's the laptop
