I think that "many" investors will show up during the last day, 5 or 6 BTC could be reached before the end, maybe.
But I'm not seeing a good sponsorship by the dev to make possible to go over that amount of btc.
Bad for him that will gain few BTC, better for the investors that will take more coins.

I guess we have time warped back to August 2014 with all these Newbie account ICO's expecting trust then hahaha.

That's why there are escrows. It of course doesn't guarantee it'll be worthwhile, but it at least guarantees the dev has to provide something if he wants his BTC.

(For the record, to save people looking back through the topic for my status in this: I have not invested in ICO but I do plan to mine this coin.)

What are you saying is nonsense, china has a lot of investors, and them are not related with bter.
If a coin takes relevance into the china community, it's only a good thing for that coin, it's a plus, not a damage.
We're talking about take more investors, not to hit some Chinese exchanger, even if it's not a bad idea.

My plan is to try and get in early on the mining, and from there, it depends where the coin seems to be going. If it looks like a flop... dump it. If it looks like it has a bit of potential, hold it. If it looks like it has a lot of potential, then I'll gladly buy up some from the people who are dumping it. While I don't have the "OMG ICO = DEFINITE SCAM" mentality that some people have, I do see ICO as too risky of an investment personally (even if in some cases it would pay off; there's one coin where I definitely missed out on full potential profits by not getting into the ICO), at least until such time as I have far more crypto funds than I do now.

Well, to be clear wallet/compiling and graphic are managed by two different people, so nobody is wasting time doing something instead of something else.
I'm still working on the wallet so it's not finished yet, I need some more hours to complete it. But I'm not in hurry, I've enough time to finish it and test it beforee the launch. So don't worry about that.
About the graphic we're planning to launch a giveaway for the first five investors in the ICO, giving them the file to print the 3d logo with a 3d printer, you know you can make a necklace and give it to your girlfriend, better than a diamond, innit.
