I was on the toilet, thinking randomly, and I was imagining some scenes of me trying to meet new girls without looking boring or too low level for them.

You can't make anyone love you. If you did make a conscious effort to be someone you think they want you to be, that can't be sustained.
There's no rhyme or reason to it. I've seen some loathsome wretches who are totally adored by their significant others, and people who I would class as higher beings who can't get a second look from anyone.
I've never been anything other than myself. If someone appreciates that, then great. If they don't, someone who does will come along eventually.

Being yourself seems the solution then, at least, Would you bother sticking with someone who turned out to have been putting on a facade for the first few months? I'd kick them to the kerb in no time at all and be seriously pissed off at having my time wasted. |
