I recently purchased 2 Antminer S3s and got them all set up, but I noticed over a few days that one is significantly louder than the other.  I went into the control panel for the Antminers and found that one has fan speeds of around 2500 RPM, while the other unit has fan speeds of around 5800 RPM.  They are both in the same area so I don't see how one could be running so much faster than the other.  I keep these units in my house so I would like them as quiet as possible.  Please help!

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

I am also having the same issue. Same location and running off the same PSU (Dell 1000w server). One of the miners also has a temp reading issue though, not sure if that makes a difference. See pics

Already tried to upgrade to latest firmware. When I got them they were on stock firmware. Made no difference though.

yours are weird do you think you can switch the back fan (the push fan)  on both machines> I want to see if the problem follows the fans.   If I recall some fans are different and the only fix is fan replacement.
