Does it have to do with longitude and latitude (one from letters other from numbers) revealing spot with 9 letter name ? Or I watched too many movies

I think the assumed letters in the pictures are not correct to begin with.

The letters are correct. They are confirmations though not clues. You also get a "b" for your answer. Smiley

locations have been found, you now need to use the 3 virtual coins together to crack the vault code to release the TGBEX physical bitcoin.

not so much ..... only in the sense that they were mathematicians and in order to get the code, you need to use the 3 virtual coins, apply some maths, and there you go...
