If this is somehow against the rules or improperly categorized, please inform me as such.  I've been monitoring BitCoin for a long while and now that I see it taking off, I'd love to be involved.

I run a few businesses around the Magic: The Gathering trading card game, both the traditional "paper" version and Magic: The Gathering Online.  I'd like to do a trial run of BitCoin by trying to sell MTG cards and taking BitCoin.  I'm checking interest before I offer cards for sale, so if you're a player of the game and want to get some cards for bit coins, I can arrange it.  I've got a sterling reputation in the MTG community and can supply ample proof of trustworthiness.

I would also be amenable to organizing MTG tournaments using Magic-League and Magic Workstation with bitcoin entry fees and prizes.

Sup dude! I love Magic although I haven't actively played for quite a while. I'm a fan of Magic Workstation and I'd love to see some Bitcoin tournaments.

All posts by me after 2012 were a compromised account. Probably by "BBOD The Best Futures Exchange". SORRY Y'ALL

I've posted that I'm more than willing to buy packs new or old (I play legacy mostly), just get a list of packs and prices and I'll probably buy some Wink

I can get new set stuff easily (i own a retail location) but i don't really mess with old packs.  i mostly deal in singles, so if you need Legacy stuff, shoot me a list of what you are into.

There have been a few selling threads already and I sold some to someone on another thread. I sell new sealed packs including boosters and fat packs and sealed special decks. I'm willing to use clear coin.

That's kind of the problem, I'm new at magic so I don't know what old cards are good Smiley

But I'm definitely interested in packs of New Phyrexia, how much for say 5 packs shipped to 14127? (I'd imagine a flat rate box would be good for this)?

I might put in an order for a bunch more too, if I can convince my friends to go in on a draft with me Smiley

ouch!  hijacked already!  would rather work with, rather than against, you though.

i am happy to sell booster packs as well.  would the proper method be to determine the price in my local currency and use the current conversion rate to get it into bit coins?

Yep! Smiley

Hell, quote it in USD and we could settle up in bitcoins according to mtgox's average over the last day or so.

I can probably do around $3.25 USD a pack. shipping to be determined based on qty ordered and destination of shipping.  if there are others who are looking to sell packs, i'd rather not get into a bidding war/race to the bottom.  (besides, i can order at wholesale so i'll probably win Wink)

Alright, that sounds good Smiley

Hmm, 10 packs to 14127? Should be able to fit in a small flat rate box.

I play a bit of MTGO. Not really into trading that much - just play for a bit of fun.

I played both the offline and online versions for years.  I would even come back to MTGO if they'd ever get leagues going again.

I'm waiting for MTGO's next major client update (v3.5?) before I start using it.

I love MtG and wouldn't mind buying stuff for bitcoins (when I get some more Grin), but I'm in the UK and envision high shipping fees from US sellers.

*raises hand* I do, well, kinda. I have some cards, and kinda learned to play, but I never found anyone to play with and learn properly.  Undecided Oh well, I'll keep watching what comes up!
