Not going to happen.  That would only slow down progress and crash the price for some weeks or months.

There may be reasons of bitcoin doomed to fail. The reason may be volatility as the biotin can have little value of currency.

becoz... swat teams can raid centralized physical mining farms to weaken the nekwork and then attack it oll they have to do is track down heavy electricity usage and ir heat just like cannibis farms and yet again we have gone back to sqaure one of centralizations and force... oh sure there will be the stand alone hobbyist miner ho hav a couple of ants but that is still not enough to secure the nekwork once the big players are raided down the poo bowl

Next time, when they raid your "cannibis" farm, and they burning your "cannibis" .... do not stand too close to the fire... you might puff on the magic dragon again.. or you might do it.. but stay away from ANY electronic device linked to the internet.  Grin Grin

Bitcoin mining is global .... you will have to raid every farm in the world and then go to every house to see, if someone did not start his Ant miner to cash in on all the other people who was raided.

In most countries it's legal to do Bitcoin mining and people are not breaking any laws by mining bitcoin... so how do you stop them?

There is a world of difference between Cannabis farming and Bitcoin mining  Grin

It cannot be stopped , if they take down big farms it just means the mining load will decrease and even if they take down everything , and one person runs it ! he will get them every 10 minute
So yeah if swat does it , it will be amazing and i will mine it secretly Grin

The comparision to Cannabis is really funny.
Do you realize that more and more countries are legalizing Cannabis?
That means, the burning down of Cannabis farms, wasn't much effective in killing Cannabis consume.

never thought about it that way, i'd better go sell everything while i still can

Be radical, have principles, be absolute, be that which the bourgeoisie calls an extremist: give yourself without counting or calculating, don't accept what they call ‘the reality of life' and act in such a way that you won't be accepted by that kind of ‘life', never abandon the principle of struggle.

The replies to the OP are hilarious!! Just couldn't refrain from posting this. Actually laughed out loud in my office and had my co-workers staring at me for a few minutes. I guess they wouldn't get the humor, so no point sharing it with the retards at work! Really made my day though! Cheesy

Yes whatever your drinking I will take 2. Why would SWAT teams be interested in Bitcoin farms?

Just as a slight aside, and to ruin the OPs "point", I found this amusing :-)

the whole world doesn't exist in the united states kid. There are other countries with more freedom.

And that is the problem with some people from the US.

They think if it goes down in the US, then its officialy dead.

EU, Asia, Australia and africa is still around.

In top 10 most retarded threads ever, this scores high.

In theory, there's no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Nice storyline. Let me continue further...And after they succeeded in doing that, a couple of new mining farms will then pop out from nowhere to continue with the mining operation. It's like it was dead a while ago and then in a blink of an eye just came back alive once again. And that my friend is the legacy of bitcoin.
