Hi,
I play TeamFortress2 a decent amount, and as a result of this, I have a large amount of items that I have no use for (Duplicates/I don't play the correct class).
Because of this, I would like to sell them on the market place here.
In order to see which items I have, please visit here http://steamcommunity.com/id/minifrij/inventory/ (Some items here are not for sale)
If you would like to purchase an item, please post which item you would like and the price you would like to sell it for and we can negotiate.
Thanks,
-Minifrij

Bump.

I stopped TF2 trading ~a year ago, but from what I see in your inventory you will have a hart time selling any of the items. Most of them are common drops and the market for that boils down to 1 on 1 traders. If you are looking for someone to swap weapons with I can check my old list of traders, Im sure most of them are still at it.

I used to help people cash out for ~30-40% discount on their inventory. Send me a PM with a link to your steam profile or steam id and Ill have a look. Just for perspective, OPs inventory has an estimated value of 13 refined metal (aka "ref") which might be hard to get since common crates are hard to trade. Nowadays a key (the most common tf2 trading currency) is worth 16-17 ref, thus its hardly possible to cash out on this inventory as it is not convertible into keys. Backpack.tf[1] lists its value at 2 USD, but IMHO 1 USD is more realistic.

Thank you for the information Shorena. Would you just suggest playing more to gain more items and changing it to refined metal/keys on Backpack.tf?
Can you craft with refined metal, or is that scrap metal?

Depends what you want. If you want to start trading tf2 items its probably best to get some currency items like keys or refined. You can use sites like backpack.tf as a guide for the price to expect. If you are mainly plaing the game I wouldnt care to much about the trading part as it can be cumbersome, time consuming and - similar to bitoin - its full of scammers and phishing software/trojans.

Can you craft with refined metal, or is that scrap metal?

Both, IIRC its: two weapons -> 1 scrap; 3 scrap -> 1 reclaimed; 3 reclaimed -> 1 refined; 3(or 4?) refined -> 1 random hat.

There should be a list of blueprints in the inventory section.

Crafting is mostly a mechanism to destroy value though. Since trading started, items that are valued in metal have lost value constantly, while items that are valued in keys stayed the same. This is mainly because you only buy keys, while metal and weapons can be farmed with bots and their is no limit to the supply. E.g. a few years ago a key was worth 2.33 refined (2 refined + 1 reclaimed) now its more than 7 times the amount of metal for a single key. While the game itself is not pay to win, trading is very hard if you are not willing to invest into keys one way or another.

Btw the key I bought should be about ready to be traded, Ill check for your taunt tonight and add you on steam.

Ah, I see, thanks again for the info. I think I'll leave it for now then, maybe give it a try another time.

Also, I'll PM you about that now.
