Illegal Goods/Services - Allowed in Marketplace ?

I guess there should be some serious rules about few things on the Marketplace section . and clear up what are the services users are allowed to do or not to do . so Basically are Illegal stuff (not speaking about guns and drugs) allowed on the forums ?
Example : Doxing , Hacking , Cracking etc ...

Doxing should be completely fine as long as you use legal methods for example searching publicly available databases and social media websites (like Facebook), if you are stealing info, hacking or social engineering it is illegal.

I don't think Doxing should be allowed tho . I mean .. would you like to see me paying someone so he gets me your IP adress , Country , adress , state , city etc ? then suddenly you find a S.W.A.T  Team on your doors house . Depends what he's done. If a person scams somebody else this info can be used to try get their money back.

That's a separate issue/crime and would almost certainly be investigated but somebody could just as easily send a swat team to your house after you buy something on eBay or anywhere else.

I know that on most cases it depends but ... I don't think we can take the  words of the clients seriously . He can simply say that the user scammed him while he didn't or whatever ...
Btw hilariousandco , I would like to hear your point of view on the Refunding Service on Amazon as I stated above .

I agreed with you earlier. Social engineering is on par with stealing or hacking it should not be allowed as I think it is a crime. But if someone is willing to pay for information you put on your facebook, twitter or other social networks and everyone can see it. The problem with doxing is: it is hard to prove that all information gathered by doxers are really obtained in legally acceptable way. Another thing is finding scammers or wrong doers vs finding people you want to destroy just because you don't like them. Doxing is really hard subject and can be viewed as something bad as much as something desirable and needed.

You don't know for sure that they are engaging in anything illegal to get a refund with Amazon products. I agree that is probably what they are doing but you cannot assume them to be guilty without evidence. If you can get him to admit he is doing something illegal (or even unethical - but this is less likely to be successful) then the thread should be removed.

Do you think it is possible that he is just being generous or making poor financial decisions?

Imo you should assume it is illegal and not deal with him however when deciding to moderate his business/thread you need actual evidence not assumptions

Not to mention the sketchyness of providing a total stranger on the internet with your personal information.

To the OP, as a general rule of thumb I think it's safe to say that no one wants illegal goods/services advertised on their site, I'm pretty sure that implicates them in the wrong-doings as well.

@wayneyoyo , Evidences like what exactly ? If you tell him that you are scamming he will simply deny it . If you tell him that you using Social Engeeniring he will say yes but still say He is not scamming . It's Blackhat and illegal method no matter what who offer the service calls them
