What has happened this year?

After getting goxxed and losing half my BTC i got enraged and stopped caring anymore about BTC. Locked the rest in a wallet and almost never checked the price again. Well i happened to read a few news now and then.

From what i can see Karpeles managed to tank the price. But were there any good news? More adoption? Attacks? Suspense? Anything new?

So what happened this year? A small summary?
