If thats the actual news, it isn't a very big one, but its funny how small things can give us such a price boost. It's very unlikely that is "the news" or even if there is a real correlation between price and news. If you want to believe that tweet is related to the price movement, the more likely scenario is that Kim Dotcom bought BTC and then posted that. they claim that they have 15 mil users. let´s say that is 10 x overstated. this would leave 1.5 mio users needing bitcoin soon tm to pay for this service. sounds bullish to me. Agreed that it's bullish, just disagree that the twitter post, which happened after the pump, was what caused the pump. Probably he would have bought first before tweeting or else he will have to buy at much higher price. Something that he would have planned and thought of. |

yes. every time is different. holding so far. The moon comes near everytime we fall. So would be hard to say where the price after increasing would reach the moon. But I see no moon in site  |

I love the enthusiasm, however I agree with the majority on this one, buckle up and get comfortable because you shall not be getting whip-lashed by a sky rocketing price anytime soon, market is being very cautious at the moment hence the somewhat temporary stability around $230-$250 price we've been seeing. Mainly due to the imminent arrival of the new ASICS but also due to the high profile hacks going on around here among other factors.

I'm day trading instead of holding for the long term. Because of low demand I can't see bitcoin moon anytime soon. Still great market for trading especially the past few days!  |

But that could change quite drastically with some big or really great news. Plus if there's low demand like you say there's surely not much profit to be made trading right now. |

that's funny $260 is the new moon? it was just a small pump without any news.
There are lots of news recently. I think price of BTC will not be affected dramatically by a single piece of news. Gradual adoption alone will drive the price. |
