Exactly. This is almost certainly a scam, but if you do take the chance use escrow but I doubt he'll ever agree to that.

Lots of scammers will state they accept escrow to look legit but behind the scenes try to get out of using one. Hopefully this isn't the case here but people always seem to try scam with great deals on bulk iphones. I'm sure we'll see if he can provide pictures shortly.

Just make sure he doesn't try to pull something like this on you, do not release any money until you have a physical product in your hand and have checked it is okay, even if this means getting a £2 blacklist check.

It's either the phone is stolen, the seller will try to convince you not to use an escrow, or he uses a fake escrow.

Either ways he's a scammer. He might sell it to one of his alts as a vouch as well
