I think it is only possible for staff and if you have donator status.

Theymos will do name changed occasionally to established members. Just post here the new name you want and wait that theymos would see it and has spare time.

Theymos will chance usernames in only certain circumstances idr what exactly the criteria is though.

both donator and VIP get access to the donator forum, get s donator/VIP tag, have 5 coins under your name.

That usually doesn't happen. Donators, VIP, and staff can change their display names. The only time I've heard that theymos changed a username was for vod, as he is a scambuster and has a lot of haters, and his original username was too close to his real name, and theymos was worried about his safety. (Not sure about this, could have been another issue)

When name is changed, you can still track because history won't change.^[1] I think CIYAM's name was also changed because IIRC, I saw him posting something like "You may have noticed my name has changed". CIYAM is his project's name. theymos do it but like Quickseller told, I don't know the exact criteria.

[1] I can't explain it. If I do, haters can easily find it.

P.S. Someone already found Vod's name and he/she posted in this forum. It matches with his username but don't know whether first name is correct though first letter was in his username.

i think you can't unless you pay a high fees

He can if theymos decides and obviously, he will need a valid reason.

If you are active in reporting posts and is trustworthy, you may become staff and staff can change their display name.

Nope, it's donators and VIP's. VIP's have the additional option to give themselves a custom title under their display name, but both donators and VIP's can change their display name.
