Six months before I started the latest iteration of the San Antonio Bitcoin Meetup, the Bitcoin Syndicate launched in our area to promote, trade, and discuss Bitcoin. Unfortunately, actual meetups for this group were rare. Recently, the Organizer and co-Organizer stepped down and the group was in danger of being taken off meetup.com. I have some ideas about joining forces and coordinating our efforts so I've stepped in as Organizer of this group, as well.
