snmp is proving on www.bitdice.me that martingale can work! He is up more than 60BTC using mostly martingale. Is it just him who is so lucky with it ? Or can it work for You also Wink

Well... it can work for me if i am able to login, again back to 2FA issues Sad. Also, will work only if i have a big enough BR, Martingale will get you with a small BR Smiley

I really like snmp's approach to slowly draining the site with his 20 loss martingale approach couple with 45% bet.  He can survive huge bad streaks and when he finally hits he gets more than his first unit bet - which right now is 4000 satoshi.

I know he blew up last time, martingale is like that, but this week he seems to have done well.

Good Luck!

Yes snmp has been incredibly lucky! He has been betting for a very long time on his martingale and it seems to work so far! Up more than 65BTC now!

Thanks everyone for blackjack testing! I'm finishing some work and gonna deploy it to production this evening.

BitDice.me could be offline for 3-5 minutes in case migration takes time. After restart secrets for everyone will be reset (server will generate new random secrets for each user), and some sessions could be closed ( need to authorize again ).

At the moment, there's no way to invest into BlackJack. BJ bankroll will be my own bitcoins which I will divest from Dice. Bankroll between BJ and Dice isn not shared. Max bet will change as well as on Dice consider on whether users win or lose, you can check it in the rules modal window.

And some sneakpeek:

The Saga of snmp continues!

snmp has been playing martingale for more than a week on www.bitdice.me (with breaks) and is still going strong! Sites profit is down to -75 BTC and snmp shows no signs of stopping!
REDD has also been very good to the users who have won over 100M REDD in a short period of time!

Another one of snmp series that got rather high

Looks like a good time and see if you got what it takes and win some also!

there is actually a slight error on the rules of blackjack that you need to fix, I copied this from the site

Quote
Min Bet 0.0 ฿
Max Bet 0.49998 ฿
Blackjack pays 3 to 2
8 decks reshuffled every hand
Dealer hits soft 17
Double on any two cards
Split up to 2 hands, can double after split

the minimum bet is actually 0.000010 BTC , perhaps it is just some rounded decimal but atleast you can put 1000 satoshis for the min bet

Hello guys.

After release of Blackjack, there was left some test code which adds 10BTC for new accounts. That's was very stupid and I fully accept that. So two people used it and cashed out 145BTC from hot wallet. You don't need to worry as I have more than double of it invested into BitDice and will cover this loss from my own pocket.

Here's information about two guys who stole the coins, I've sent an email to the second guy and await his reply. Don't know how to contact with the first one. In case I will not get a reply from them, we are gonna contact the police about this incident within next few days.

First ones went here:
https://blockchain.info/address/1FmrS1LtzcXPiSvX3yqgHzqUWMnb9XhHLE

The rest 65 BTC are here:

Here's info on both parties.
First guy:

snmp had a long winning streak, taking the profits down to -80... but had a 21-losing streak here, bringing the site back to positive profits.

This should be a mere lesson to people to actually stop being greedy, he could have stop and let the house suffer since the house profit went to - 70 BTC , but he chose to continue with this martingale strategy and ended with a losing streak, losing all of his earned BTC

Oh my, that is a quick 83.886 btc loss within just 13 seconds...
Again, it shows the high risk of running martingale for an extended period of time.

I'm told that this is the new bitdice thread - not sure why there are two of them for the same site, but whatever.

I posted in the other thread about a blackjack bug:

So earlier the dealer was hitting all 17's, hard or soft, which made it far too easy to win:

Alex fixed that, but now the dealer is standing on soft 17 when the rules say he hits that:

some gamblers dont stop though.. most especially if they keep on winning a "sense of being unstoppable" hits 'em

It happened again. Even though it says right on the table that the dealer hits soft 17:

I bet 1 CLAM, was dealt 11 vs. dealer's 3, so I doubled, the dealer got soft 17, stood, and won!

Such sadness. Sad

snmp had a long winning streak, taking the profits down to -80... but had a 21-losing streak here, bringing the site back to positive profits.

Oh my, that is a quick 83.886 btc loss within just 13 seconds...
Again, it shows the high risk of running martingale for an extended period of time.

Extended? This is one of the longest martingales I've ever seen. He managed to make over 80BTC over a time frame of over one week. Martingale doesn't last me 10 minutes let alone a whole week!!
Good on him, I'm sure he had a little fun along the way, if I got to experience that I'd be happy with the exp I had gained by the end of it!
