Hello,

Another day, another nice bug for you Smiley

You shouldn't change currency in the middle of the game Smiley I know about it. It's just visual, you have REDD not BTC Smiley This one and all issues with stats will be updated with next huge deploy.

Hahaha, Lol didn't know you already knew about it. well i'll keep hunting for non-visuals then Tongue

There was someone in chat complaining about not being able to split their ten value cards rather than just two of the exact same cards, e.g. can split 10-10 but not 10-King.  Since splitting two ten value cards is about the dumbest thing a player can do in blackjack you may want to allow it.

Yep why not? Let players be dumb.  I believe this move may be in the players favour IF the dealer shows a 4 or 5 AND the count is in your favour on multideck blackjack, but since that isn't the case here yes a very dumb move.

Now that this has been said I'm pretty sure people wont make the mistake any more.

It's correct to split 10's against a dealer 4, 5, or 6 if the count is +6, +5, or +4 or more respectively.

See https://www.blackjackinfo.com/knowledge-base/blackjack-general/when-should-you-split-10s/ for more discussion of the strategy - though those guys seem mostly concerned with how splitting 10's gives away the fact that you're counting.

I have also gone through it and it is a really good baseline for anyone who is interested in blackjack.
As for the split issues, ill let Alex know and see what he thinks about it.

As for the split issues, ill let Alex know and see what he thinks about it.

Whether to allow the player to split non-equal ten-value cards seems to be a rule that varies from casino to casino.

Some will let you split QK, some won't.

In bitdice's case since the count is always very close to zero it's never a good idea to split tens, and so it won't hurt the house to allow people to split QK.

as the cards reshuffled every new hands,
split tens is +EV to house
so let players to do it.

I did once for a day or so. I don't any more.

If I had to invest in a BTC dice site, this would be my choice I think.

(But I don't, so it isn't)

withdrawals are very fast at www.bitdice.me

I've often had the opposite experience.

A few days ago I tried withdrawing 550 CLAM, which is worth about 2 BTC. The site told me I had to wait for the cold wallet.

I thought the site actively staked all its CLAM, so why is it telling me I have to wait for a cold wallet transaction?

It would be useful to know how much is available for withdrawal in the hot wallet. Currently I have to guess and hope that you will return my coins when I ask for them.

Having to wait 8 hours for a relatively small withdrawal makes it not worth playing. I want to be able to withdraw quickly so I can continue staking my coins rather than having the staking rewards go to your site's investors.

Coins are staking but on the separate server. Thus, hot wallet keeps about 10-15% of all invested amount. That's why you are waiting for processing.

I've often had the opposite experience.

Me too. Withdrawals served from the hot wallet are instantaneous which is awesome, but I also found that withdrawals that have to be processed manually usually take way over 24h.

I made a withdrawal of 11 BTC on Wed March 25th which needed to be processed from cold wallet. On Fri March 27th I send support (contact@bitdice.me) an email but haven't gotten a response yet. I've been away for the weekend and after coming back I find that my withdrawal still hasn't been processed Sad Sad That makes it >96h for something I'd consider a standard amount.

If Alex or bitme.steven are reading this, my on-site username is kungfuant.

Edit: Withdrawal was processed...
