MONTREUX, Switzerland (Reuters) - Iran rejected on Tuesday as "unacceptable" U.S. President Barack Obama's demand that it freeze sensitive nuclear activities for at least 10 years but said it would continue talks on a deal, Iran's semi-official Fars news agency reported.

Iran laid out the position as the U.S. and Iranian foreign ministers met for a second day of negotiations and as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a stinging critique of the agreement they are trying to hammer out.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammed Javad Zarif and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry met a day after Obama told Reuters that Iran must commit to a verifiable halt of at least 10 years on sensitive nuclear work for a landmark atomic deal to be reached.

"Iran will not accept excessive and illogical demands," Zarif was quoted by Fars as saying.

White House warns Netanyahu not to reveal Iran details...
Netanyahu warns Congress: Deal will lead to Iranian nuclear bomb
Quote
Washington (CNN)Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Tuesday that a proposed agreement between world powers and Iran was "a bad deal" that would not stop Tehran from getting nuclear weapons -- but would rather pave its way to getting lots of them and leave the Jewish State in grave peril.

In a dramatic address to the U.S. Congress at what he said was a "fateful" crossroads of history, Netanyahu openly sided with President Barack Obama's Republican critics and sparked an immediate and furious reaction from the White House, as relations between Washington and Israel spun into their deepest chasm for many years.

"We have been told that no deal is better than a bad deal. Well this is a bad deal. It is a very bad deal. We are better off without it," Netanyahu said, building a case that Iran was not just bent on developing nuclear weapons but was determined to "gobble" up defenseless countries in a wider play for dominance in the Middle East.

Netanyahu: Nuclear Deal ‘Paves Iran’s Path To The Bomb’
Quote
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in his address to Congress that there would be a nuclear arms race in the Middle East if a deal is signed with Iran.

“We must all stand together to stop Iran’s march of conquest, subjugation, and terror,” Netanyahu said to applause.
In a speech that dozens of Democrats skipped, the Israeli leader warned that a nuclear deal “paves Iran’s path to the bomb.”

“So you see my friends, this deal has two major concessions: one leaving Iran with a vast nuclear progam, and two, lifiting the restrictions on that program in about a decade,” Netanyahu said. “That’s why this deal is so bad. It doesn’t block Iran’s path to the bomb, it paves Iran’s path to the bomb.”

The Israeli prime minister touched on the major concessions he believes will happen in a nuclear deal with Iran.

what no ones has the courage to say...

1. it's the best move by the Obama admin... a bad deal yes. why? the fucking war is for the next admin. that's it.

2. the best kept secret in Iran is? ahaha no bs, it's simple. if the sunnis (Arabs) lose Makka and Meddina it's the role of Iran to kick the infidels and miscreants from there. the second wing if you want.

3. what iran is a terrorist nation training on blasting us carriers? gl with that, but how to call the blasting nsa ships? to be friend with America? like spreading gmo terrors?

4. I learned that Iran is promoting violent and cover operations worldwide... bad.

5. if iran nukes isreal, iran is glassed.

6. does it change something to wait for 2017 for the annihilation? ahh but bb doesn't get bunker privileges...

7. right now my problem is the ctrl+p/gmo and not a word. meaning is it about a diversion?

8. You can be Jewish (even the daughter of a Rabbi) and HATE Isreal, it's called freedom. Futhermore which Jewish doctrine is the doctrine of Isreal? democracy? what? forget it.

And it the last time I watch anything with congress and a foreign representant (leader, what the bs), why? I though I was in a Zoo or Circus with all the clappings... it's frankly very primitive. I couldn't believe it.

money is faster...

israel and its pet monkey aren't gonna like this

Be radical, have principles, be absolute, be that which the bourgeoisie calls an extremist: give yourself without counting or calculating, don't accept what they call ‘the reality of life' and act in such a way that you won't be accepted by that kind of ‘life', never abandon the principle of struggle.

Israel definitely isn't interested in playing a constructive role in solving this problem.
