★☆★ MODENERO CONCIERGE ★☆★
Sub-$999 Coin Teller Machine (CTM)

https://modenero.com/concierge

At heart, the Concierge is a Bitcoin Teller Machine (BTM), but it's also so very much more.
Inspired by Project Skyhook, we've made some hardware and software improvements that we'd like to bring to the larger community.

MOST NOTABLY, WE'VE:

    1. Upgraded the Bill Acceptor from an Apex 7000 Series to a JCM UBA SS-24
(will accept ALL currencies, most notably Euros greater than €20)

    2. Replaced the 7" Nexus Tablet with a 9" Capacitive Touchscreen
(changed the orientation to landscape to better support multimedia)

    3. Upgraded the Raspberry Pi from Gen 1 to Gen 2
(w/ 6x more power - needed to run the highly interactive user interface)

    4. Added Open Source Hardware to the Free and Open Source Software
(all hardware specs, 3d models, schematics, etc will be made available)

★☆★ INDIEGOGO CAMPAIGN ★☆★

http://igg.me/at/lil-bodega

Currently finalizing an Indiegogo Crowdfunding Campaign set for a “soft” launch on Friday, March 6th.
The “official” launch will be on Monday, March 9th with the debut of the Generation–2 Concierge.
I'm actively looking to build a team of Digital Currency enthusiasts to join the campaign.

LOOKING FOR THE FOLLOWING CAMPAIGN TEAM MEMBERS:

    - Graphic Artists (PS, Illustrator, etc)

    - Media Producers (After Effects, Premiere Pro, etc)

    - Hardware Engineers (Microelectronics)

    - Software Engineers (Full Stack, Python, JS, Bitcoin, Altcoins)

    - Public Relations (Press, FB, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc)

Please review the Product and Campaign websites and PM if you're interested in joining the team in one of the above roles.
In most cases, we'll be adding multiple people per role – Lead and Support.
In addition to being paid for your work (to be negotiated in bitcoins), you will also share in the campaign's Bonus Pool, based on your contributing work.
The Bonus Pool will be approximately $100 (the current margin over cost) for each machine pre-order over the goal.

* NOTE: As much as I appreciate the anonymous nature of this community, any interested parties will be required to use “real” and “public” profiles (e.g. FB, LinkedIn, etc).
Please forward any and all applicable links with your message.

Looking forward to building a strong team to see this project through.
Any and all feedback is more than welcome...

Cheers!
Shomari

bump...

We have been contacted recently by several operators of these ATM units who claimed that all their coins where stolen from the ATM and the manufacturer (Kewl Life  something) moved on to creating Onecoin ATM units instead (yes, THAT onecoin, the scammy not-so-crypto cryptocoin that is marketed as an MLM scheme)

The Modenero Concierge ATM itself was originally running on a Raspberry PI, a tiny computer created for educational and home projects but because of the high likelihood of SD card corruption this platform is just not suited for use as an ATM platform. As a consequence all exiting Modenero Concierge Machines died and where non-operational for quite some time until one of the operators contacted us for a solution as the original manufacturer, Kewl Life whatever, did not bother with their clients, emptied their wallets and went on to create a Onecoin ATM (that site is offline too at time of writing)

The engineers at GENERAL BYTES managed to get their hands on a original Modenero Concierge ATM and (during the holidays!) created a conversion kit that will turn your dead Modenero Concierge ATM into a GENERAL BYTES BITCOIN ATM. The upgrade kit consists of a GB Bitcoin computer and a software license (for ATM and fleet management) that will make your Modenero Concierge machine work better, faster and more stable than it ever did before! Better up-time, new buy-sell strategies, multilingual support and all the other features that made GENERAL BYTES the ATM platform of choice now come standard after the conversion.

Bi-Weekly updates keep your Modenero in tip-top condition (operators decide if and when they want to install these) and most importantly, operators can run their own wallets so even if GENERAL BYTES would stop existing, the converted Modenero Machines will continue to work. Your ATM, your admin panel, running on your own (cloud)server, your Bitcoin Wallet and your exchange of choice. The way it should be really, decentralized, just like Bitcoin itself.

Looking back at Modenero they made some big mistakes, the GB Modenero conversion kit fixes these flaws and frees the operator from centrally stored wallets and substandard hardware causing system downtime. At the same time all Modenero machines are now able to publish their rates to sites like CoinATMradar.com and think users finally get the machine they thought they purchased from Kewl Life.

GENERAL BYTES brings Android, Bitcoin and blockchain based technologies to new and unexpected places. Our mission is to become world's leading bitcoin and blockchain technology provider.
