Supernova is up .

And Dev I tweeted  about fonziecoin and talked about it in yobit chat . got some interest there . But my titter isnt that big since I don't use it much . And staking is working great . I'm getting stakes every few minutes on about 86794 stake weight . about 1k every few minutes to about every 15 minutes with no hassles . I am mining it and I understand about the empty promises like most coins .

Did I mess up the time?

Maybe I'm 2 hours off. Time to unlock my wallet!

EDIT: Wait, how are you getting stake? Are you sure you aren't just getting payouts from suprnova?

You shouldn't be able to get stake for about an hour and 12 minutes from the time of this post.

I don't think so . But I'm in usa . eastern time zone . I think my coins were coming from supernova pool . 1k at a time So i may have told you wrong . but my staking icon is lit up though .

That just means your wallet is trying to find stake kernel. But it is rejecting each try before it actually tries to sign a block with it. It will accept the stake kernel and you will mint stake after 7:00 AM UTC, which is coming up real soon.

Good enough for me . I apologize for tell you wrong , I thought it was staking when I saw it lit up and the 1k coming in from supernova . But at least I know it works .

You did a great job on this coin , 2 launches didnt fire off and then it was off to the races once you got it straightened up where it needed fixed . Good coin unique with the name on it if you ask me .

Let's see what happens in 2 minutes when staking kicks in. I'm nervous. Going from PoW to PoS is always a real nail-biter.

It looks like staking is live on the net. There has already been 6 stakes. My wallet has accepted (not minted) 6 PoS blocks already.

This is just a reminder:

Mint stake is just like PoW: it will take 250 confirms to spend your stake! That's about 18 hours.

If you signed the block, you'll have to wait 18 hours to spend the stake and mint it created.

This looks good. It's late where I am. I'm going to bed before I get the urge to open another beer.

Keep mining!

Ok , if you have the latest wallet try this , %appdata% (roaming folder) , delete everything except the wallet.dat . restart the wallet and let it sync , that should maybe fix it . MAKE SURE YOU DONT DELETE THAT WALLET.DAT FILE AS THAT IS WHERE YOUR COINS ARE . IF YOU DELETE THAT THEN THEY ARE LOST FOREVER .

(WHICH YOU COULD JUST REMOVE THEM FROM THE TRASH CAN ON DESKTOP AND PUT THEM BACK IN THE WALLET )

BUT TRY THAT AND IT SHOULD WORK . HOPEFULLY . IF NOT THE YOU'LL HAVE TO ASK THE DEV .

Don't panic yet. Make a backup of your wallet before you do anything. I'll be tied up today (tied up right now even), but I can help you out if these other suggestions don't work.

I have a few minutes now.

After you have backed up your wallet.dat, try this (it's the "nuclear option" but should solve any wallet issue).

1. Stop the client.
2. Make sure your wallet.dat backup is in a safe place.
3. Move your wallet.dat out of the appdata folder.
4. Delete everything in the appdata folder, but don't actually delete the folder.
5. Put your wallet.dat back in the folder (not the backup, keep that safe).
6. Make a FonzieCoin.conf file in the appdata folder and put this line in:

Code: (FonzieCoin.conf)
salvagewallet=1

7. Start up the client, make sure it is the newest one (1.1.1.0).
8. While the client is starting up, go delete the "salvagewallet" line from FonzieCoin.conf so your client doesn't try to salvage your wallet every time it starts up.
9. To stake, you need to click the lock at the bottom-right of the window and unlock for minting.
