oof - thats very high. perhaps a local courier or fedex can do <$150

24" PCI-E cables with 16AWG wires and stripped ends - great for server PSU mods, best prices https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563461
No longer a wannabe - now an ASIC owner!

Agreed about the shipping sounding high. Try DHL also. My SP20s came via them and I used them for other international shipping.
Albeit never to portugal.

Good Luck on your deal to you both.

Transaction fees go to the pools and the pools decide to pay them to the miners. Anything else, including off-chain solutions are stealing and not the way Bitcoin was intended to function.
Make the block size set by the pool. Pool = miners and they get the choice.

Shipping is indeed pretty killer. Could you look into FedEx? I'd take the SP31 if we can figure out something.

Not sure why but Fedex to US states 664 USD ... looks like DHL would be the best ...

Thanks to padrino for the hint!
I just checked the Portuguese postal service website and they state that to the USA and Canada for a package of 19 Kg its 184.60 EUR plus local VAT (23%).. that would be ~246 USD. I need to call them to double check this but I can only do it on Monday.
