Cloud mining HASHOCEAN: earning without invest scheme

So I invested into this and in the end asked for a refund as they have a full refund policy.
"We guarantee you the full refund if you don’t like our service operation for any reasons. You need to inform our service desk about your desire to have your invested funds back. You will get them on your balance in 72 hours and in 24 hours funds will be transferred on Bitcoin-wallet that was provided in settings." https://hashocean.com/refund/

What they don't say here is that when they refund you they get to choose whether to give a btc value to your investments or a cash value. Here is the records of my investments including one failed tx.

If you do the math this ads upto 1.13216 btc. What I got as a refund was 0.76014561 btc. They sent an email for each transaction number for each of my purchases but gave no refund amount specific to each refund.

Granted these guys may not be a ponzi site specifically but be warned that their so called refund policy is adjusted to what ever they feel is the most beneficial currency for them not what you invest with. Far as i am concerned it is just another site to get burned at.

But what amount did you earn during that time. If you add everything you've withdrawn+refund isn't it the calculated amount?

Maybe, but they "guarantee a full refund'. Not a partial minus earnings or anything like that. If a full refund is not what they mean then they need to change their advertised policy. Also, if they are going to do the calculations in usd and not btc which is used in the transactions then they need to state that. Technically it is against the law for them to base values on a currency other than that used withing the transactions.
Think of the people there that have invested into over a hundred megahash. If they were to try to get a refund they would loose about 30% of what they have invested into it doing it the way they are.

The only thing I got screwed on is the "Full Refund" thing. I asked for a refund and did not get the full amount of btc I had invested. Otherwise the payouts are quite timely and consistent. I had a bit ove 1.3mh/s with them.

please exit this game if you believe you had earned enough money - ore-mine is one of the explicit example recently. unless the hashocean could provide the information to mining ASICs, we could sure this is a ponzi. FYI the ponzi collapses when they believed that they gained the maximum money, they wished to get the trust from the people, the operator collapses the ponzi down before majority remains believing they had payouts.

This is on the site since the first day i saw it. No problem on my side with it. If you buy 20kh/s your roi is about 3 months. I think that's pretty good.

Continuing with my previous mail I want to share my experience with HashOcean

But before you continue reading please note:
1- I agree there are a lot of signs that they may be just a ponzi scheme
2- If 1 is true, they could run away in any moment so even when I reach ROI that's may not be the case for you.
3- This is the same case with almost/all (pick your choice) cloud mining services
4- I only have some truth on genesis and hashnest, but in genesis you will loose money and in hash nest the only way to make profit is gambling at market.
5- Based on previous points it's your choice to use this or any other cloud mining service but consider them as a game either as an investment and put there only the money you could afford to loose.
