Hello! i was just searching something and my eye happened to fall on the profile uid of our Great admin Theymos .
I was really startled to see it was 35
I was curious to know who were before him , i know satoshi is 3
Sirius is 4

As theymos mentioned ,

The story of how I became head admin is actually pretty boring. Moderators were needed, so I was made a global moderator. Then admins were needed, so I was made an admin. Then over time the other admins slowly lost interest and resigned until I was the only one left.

I see that these profiles doesn't exist which were created before him
2 ,5 ,7 ,8 ,9 ,15 ,18 ,19 ,20 ,25

Does this Belong to past Admins ?

Also amazing that probably Satoshi or Sirius made the account named admin but never used it.

There are many other but all of them left after a while some of them in a day , some in months and some recently .
Keeping in mind how Sirius is also not here , Only Theymos stayed.
I feel like am writting Legends on Theymos Cheesy Cheesy Grin

Anyways just wanted to ask , are the deleted profiles once of admins. Theymos might know it or maybe not since they were before him.

You can sort members by sign up date. List is here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=mlist;sort=registered;start=0

Satoshi isn't listed though. Maybe he was delisted from it. I know his account is currently 'locked'.

I think first few was for testing and it may have used for functions like deleting, banning etc...

I can't see Hero Member and Legendary. Do you know why?

I believe those missing profiles are not admins but deleted members. Back then Satoshi did not ban but delete members.

this is pretty harsh, are there any evidence to back your claim? since this isnt really like satoshi, to delete someone who come to bitcoin forum to know more about bitcoin

Maybe they were their alts and were banned , and something else might be the reason for the deletion.

I would assume the missing accounts had been deleted for some reason or something although I do not know. It is cool to see a number of well known bitcoiners in the first few pages.

Also amazing that probably Satoshi or Sirius made the account named admin but never used it.
Admin was clearly under control of Satoshi and Sirus and I presume that it is a default account of the SMF package.
So there is no intention behind this one.

BTW, I recently had contact with someone between #10 and #20, and there was no special story behind, he just
signed up some day and soon later lost interest. It was a public forum from the beginning, so there are always
people who stumble over it..
