Anybody know of a good source for replacement fans for 5970's?

Got some that are starting to get noisy, seems like they may have a shorted pole or something .... feel quite 'coggy' when turning by hand and sometimes make a clattering on start-up.

Would be good to know if it was worth the cost.

I use a Arctic cooling Accelero Extreme on my 5870. Excellent replacement fan kit, has 3 pretty big fans on the side though I'm not sure if they make one for the 5970 GPU.

just replace turbine with similar properly working in service center for nominal fee.
"alternative coolers" less noisier, sure, but they usually not exhaust hot ait, but messing with it inside PC case, so resulted noise not lower[meaning in result you NEED add extra fans to PC case to back this up]amounts, but shifts in frequency below[GPU turbines use high-RPM's, while 120mm/140mm/250mm PC case fans signinficantly lover RPM rate].
so to summarise: ext-exhaust reference cooler ftw, for long-term full-stress usage.

I have not found a source for the 5970 coolers at all... The Arctive Cooling ones are out of stock everywhere and of course it's impossible to buy the reference cooler.  No one else seems to make an aftermarket cooler for them, either.  I would definitely be interested in locating a source.

If you're searching these lines for a point, you've probably missed it.  There was never anything there in the first place.

I have some watercooled 5970s.  I still have the reference air coolers, they do not have many miles on them because they were only used for gaming.  I am travelling for work, but when I get home this weekend I will post them for sale in the classifieds.  I had no clue there was a market for them.

I have 6 of them.

3x Sapphire
1x XFX
1x Powercolor
1x Diamond

I have been lurking for about a month.  This post made me register so I could post.
